Free breakfast
Trinity Christian Church is hosting a free community breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
There will be waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee and juice. Trinity Christian Church is located at 462 Main St. The Mission Thrift Shop will be open during breakfast and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Tuesday trail-blazers
Take the scenic route and touch some grass.
Trust to help trim back overgrown trails Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area, 29 Papermill Road. The Trust is looking for help with clearing of over growth brush at the cranberry bogs, removal of fallen trees and construction of new bog boards.
Water, sun screen, bug spray and appropriate woods and winter attire is encouraged. Participants should bring their own work gloves. The land trust will provide tools but guests are invited to bring their own loppers, clippers and shears.

Step in the right direction
Want to get outside for a walk this winter?
The Wareham Land Trust has just the event. The land trust is hosting a walk through the Marks Cove Conservation Area Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy the outdoors and hike with good company at Marks Cove.
The leisurely paced walk will have i approximately 2 miles of forest terrain with some uneven ground and hills. The hike will begin at the end of Nicholas Drive and is free with registration required.
