Turning Point’s first post-Covid golf tournament has been rescheduled from Sunday, August 6 to Sunday, April 28 due to unanticipated renovation delays at Bay Pointe Club in Buzzards Bay.

“We are thankful for everyone who came forward to participate,” said Turning Point Executive Director Shirley Santos, “and look forward to welcoming them to the event next spring.”

The Eighth Annual Turning Point Golf Tournament is held to raise money for the organization whose mission is to provide support services to individuals and families facing housing insecurity. This event is also one of the organization's 20th anniversary celebrations.

Those interested can pay a $125 entry fee, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and dinner.

Those who do not play gold can still help out by sponsoring one of the 18 holes, marked by a sign naming the company or individual donating.

Santos said, “It will be a fun day for everyone, and a really fun way to support a worthy cause.”

Direct all questions and donations to Turning Point’s Golf Tourney Organizer Rick Duffy at 508-759-7872.
