KINGSTON- Marjorie (Ridlon) Kenrick of Carver and Wareham passed away on her 98th birthday, February 24, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Kenrick, Sr. and the daughter of the late Ernest T. and Jane (Dalzell) Ridlon. She was the sister of the late Nathalie (Ridlon) Abbott.

Born in Boston, Marge grew up in Brookline. She and her husband raised their family in Canton and Marge moved to Carver after retiring. She summered all her life in Wareham. Graduating from Brookline High School, Marge received a degree from Burdett College. She worked in the Business Office at Blue Hills Regional High School in Canton for 15 years before retiring. She enjoyed sailing, traveling, and an occasional glass of wine. But most of all, she enjoyed time with her family at the cottage on Tempest Knob.

Marge was beloved by her children Robert Kenrick and his wife Linda of West Bridgewater, Janet Dinsmore and her husband Brian of Kingston, Susan Holman and her husband Dana of Carver, and Karen Cavanaugh and her husband Daniel of Coral Springs, FL. Also, her grandchildren Heather Nadeau, Alison Bartone, Shawn Dinsmore, Robert Cavanaugh, and Danielle Cavanaugh; her great grandchildren, Margaret Dinsmore, Abigail, Katherine, and Jonathan Nadeau, Liam and Anabel Bartone, and Clayton Cavanaugh as well as her cousin Edward Barrett of Roslindale and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by her funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
