WAREHAM – Donald J. Lovell, 42, of Wareham, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 after a long illness, surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Rachael Orander-Lovell.

Born in Stoughton, Donnie was the son of Rosario A. Lovell of Wareham and Donald S. Lovell of Carver.  Donald attended Wareham schools and worked in construction.  He also owned and operated his own business, Lovell Construction.

Donnie was also an accomplished ATV racer and raced in the Northeast ATV (NEATV) motocross series in the Pro Class and Class A divisions.

He is survived by his wife Rachael Orander-Lovell of Wareham, his daughter Cassandra Orander-Lovell of Wareham; his parents, Rosario A. Lovell of Wareham and Donald S. Lovell of Carver, his sister, Rosario M. Lovell of Wareham, his mother in-law, Cassandra M. Orander of Wareham, and many other close family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  A prayer service will be held at 12:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at the Wareham/New Bedford Lodge of Elks, 2855 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
