The Blue Foot Cafe will feature the work of artist Margaret McCahill throughout December.

McCahill is a Cataumet native who has been interested in ink drawings, photography and paper crafts since her days at Bourne High School.

She took up painting seriously after retiring from a journalism career. She started with oils and is now concentrating on watercolors as part of the Canal Side Artists.

The Canal Side Artists got their name from moving up and down the canal to paint at different sites, and as a group, they primarily use watercolors.
