Barbara Hultgren, 93

Barbara Hultgren, 93, passed away on October 13, 2026. She was born on February 22, 1933, to Edmond and Agnes Hill and grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts.

The youngest of nine siblings, Barbara was shaped by her large family and became a loving, devoted, and family-centered person. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lennart Hultgren; her sons, Glen Johnson and Mark Johnson; and her granddaughter, Erin Johnson.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Brooke Schneider, Zack Johnson, and Alex Johnson; Brooke’s husband, Derek Schneider; and her great-grandchildren, Tanner and Reese.

Barbara’s love, warmth, and devotion to her family will remain in their hearts forever.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Barbara will be laid to rest beside her husband at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
