Police sergeant retires after 30 years of service

Sergeant Daniel Henderson has retired from the Wareham Police Department after 30 years of service. 

Henderson served in the Marine Corps prior to becoming a police officer for the Town of Wareham. Throughout his career at the Wareham Police Department he served as a patrol officer, a SWAT officer, a field training officer, a member of the honor guard, a firearms instructor and a patrol supervisor.

"We would like to congratulate Sergeant Daniel Henderson on his retirement after over 30 years of proudly serving the residents of Wareham," said the Wareham Police Department. 

Wareham EMS, Wareham Fire Department, Onset Fire Department and Wareham Department of Natural Resources all wished Henderson well in retirement.
