Alleged armed robber identified and apprehended by police

Police arrested Jade Enright, 54, Thursday, Nov. 2 on three charges of masked, armed robbery.

Enright, a Wareham resident, was previously arrested on a number of drug charges on Wednesday, Sept. 6 when police had suspicion of his alleged involvement in three robberies that took place last year.

The Wareham Police Department reported that the suspect wore a mask and possessed a knife when they commit the three robberies along Cranberry Highway.

After showing the knife, U.S. currency was stolen from the register at Old Navy, located at 2421 Cranberry Highway, on July 28, 2022.

Showing the knife, the robber demanded clerks remove money from the registers at Cumberland Farms, located at 2360 Cranberry Highway, and New England Smoke Shop, located at 3065 Cranberry Highway, on September 28, 2022 and November 2, 2022, respectively.

Enright was arraigned at Wareham District Court and has been transferred to Plymouth District Court.
